Today was a banner day!!! 6.13 miles!!! My goal is 6.2... the race is in 3 weeks this is doable!!! I have one challenge sadly... my feet after about an hour my toes are cramping terribly... but I will figure something out... January I could barely get through 1 minute!!! And now I "run" 110!!! How fortunate am I??? Today was a good day...
I have for several years been conflicted about how I feel about the Oregon Coast... having said that, I planned a beach trip... I must confess it won my heart! !! We started at the southern most (almost ) beach town and worked or way up the 101... it was lovely ,fun, informative and really a trip I will do Again!!! So I guess Oregon in all her aspects had my heart...
So the problem with falling is not the fall but the landing!!! This time because of how it/I went down I impacted full on the breast I had surgery on 2 years ago (aka lumpectomy) ...now the challenges with this are vast... first, it is right now swollen about half again it's natural state... second, it wasn't feeling great before the fall and now I can barely touch it is so tender... third, I am just freaked out!!! Tomorrow I am calling the advice nurse if it is not somewhat better... I did this yesterday, it is not black and blue but bright red!!! Well on the up side, I ran 5.5 miles!!! And I still have more than a month until my run!!! I totally forgot this!!!
